All frills. A decorative takeover on a classic. The 1460 Frill 8-eye boot sees the original DM’s silhouette embellished with bows and frills. Crafted in Buttero, a soft leather with a satin gloss and supple feel. We stitched intricate bows and contour lines across the upper in contrasting white while weaving black frills behind the eyelets and laces. The boot is accented with a gunmetal and black heel loop, white welt stitching and a black DMS sole with classic grooving.
Material
Buttero leather’s name tells you everything: luxuriously soft to touch, this full-grain, smooth leather is ultra supple. Bow Poly is a smooth polyester material stitched with subtle contrasting white bows.
Care Instructions
Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens clear or coloured wax polish as appropriate, using a Dr.Martens shoe brush, (Neutral can be applied to all colours). Allow to dry, then buff vigorously to desired shine using a second clean Dr.Martens shoe brush. (We advise to use 2 brushes per colour, one to add the polish and the second, clean dry brush, to buff up the leather for the best results).
Construction
Goodyear Welted – the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
